OCTOPUSLurssen

ne of the most well-traveled yachts in the world, it’s hard to overstate the impact of Octopus on contemporary yachting: in terms of capability, versatility and vision, Octopus continues to outclass most, if not all, other large exploration yachts.
Built to Ice- Class 1A and reaching a max speed of 18kts, Octopus has two helipads, one forward and one aft, and two helicopters can be stored in a climate-controlled garage. She carries seven tenders including a 13m I 43ft custom dive-tender by Hinckley, a ROV and an array of water toys.
The hull design includes an integrated dock with a lock door at the stern. It also houses the 38-foot submarine “Pagoo”, capable of carrying ten people, as well as the 43’ Hinckley tender. When the vessels are inboard, the water is pumped out providing a drydock facility.
