The Pacific and Indian Oceans

Tahiti I Tuamotus I Fiji I The Great Barrier Reef I New Zealand I Seychelles I Maldives I Galapagos

The Pacific is the largest Ocean on the planet. The range of cruising opportunities can only be described as superlative. A Galapagos cruise is the ultimate wildlife experience. South Pacific cruising takes you to some of the most remote, idyllic islands on planet Earth. Exploring the Great Barrier Reef is a voyage over the largest living organism in the world.
Since the region encompasses both hemispheres, the best season for cruising depends on your destination. Most destinations are in temperate areas where temperatures don’t vary much year-round. However, there is always a wet and windy season which is best avoided. The Seychelles are best in winter and spring while the Great Barrier Reef has the mildest weather and good underwater visibility from June to November.
Facilities and access vary depending on the remoteness of the destination, on the local economy, commercialization and environmental regulations.
